At 21:13, Engine 1 (B-shift) was dispatched mutual aid to 10612 Dunhill Terr, in the Bay Leaf Fire District of unincorporated Wake County. Engine 1 arrived and stretched a backup line to assist the first due engine in fire suppression operations. Wake New Hope Firefighters operated for 2 hours before returning to service.

BRUSH FIRES.
Friday, April 17th
Brush 7 and Tanker 9 responded to a pair of brush fires Sunday April 13th on Ruddy Rd and Old Milburnie Road.Both fires were quickly extinguished by New Hope personnel. Other units on scene were Engine 8, Engine 1, Tanker 10, Tanker 11 and Knightdale Engine 134
EVERYTHING GOES YARD SALE.
Friday, April 11th
On Saturday, April 5th the Wake New Hope Auxiliary held its first everything goes yard sale. The sale went very well as they raised over $1500 for the Wake New Hope Fire Department. A huge thanks goes out to all of the ladies who helped out. The remaining items that did not sale were donated to the Goodwill Community Foundation.
OVERTURNED VEHICLE ON LIGON MILL.
Friday, April 11th
Engine 8 and Rescue 14 responded to a single vehicle accident on Ligon Mill Road. The truck lost control and ran off the road causing it to overturn on its roof. Minor injuires were reported and the patient was transported.

The Wake New Hope Fire Department auxiliary is accepting donations for the 2014 Everything Goes Yard Sale. You can drop-off your gently used items to either station or call and schedule a pick up. Currently the yard sale is scheduled to be March 8th and 9th. We look forward to seeing you.
ACTIVE SHOOTER DRILL.
Tuesday, January 21st
Dozens of departments worked together on training for an active shooter. This took place at the new Rolesville High School. This was a real time scenario where Fire Departments responded to a fire alarm and then followed by an explosion. New Hope was ordered to stage and then proceed in with law enforcement.
