At 11:45pm, RWCC dispatched New Hope Stations 1 & 2 to 4209 Loon Lane in the New Hope Fire District for a reported structure fire. New Hope Car 2 arrived first, reporting heavy fire through the roof, and requested 3 mutual aid tankers and WC1 to respond to the scene. Engine 4’s crew arrived and pulled 2 attack lines and began knocking down the fire in division 1.
Eastern Wake Pumper 2 arrived next and supplied Engine 4’s crew with additional water. Tanker 10, Engine 1, Tanker 11, Rescue 14 & Tanker 9 arrived soon after, assisting the interior crews with extinguishment and overhaul of the fire building. Tankers from Eastern Wake, Wendell, Roseville & Wake Forrest arrived, and stood by in case a tanker operations were needed. The fire was placed under control after 26 minutes.
